We can't believe its already Friday morning. This week has been flying by, and we shared a lot of fun times together.
Wednesday we had a great camp out, which included dancing, singing, and a campfire with s'mores. After we decided where we wanted to camp (either the chapel or the upper field), we split in to our groups for a star show put on by some of the staff. We got to see The Big Dipper, The Summer Triangle, and the North Star. It was so cool to see those constellations and be able to tell what they were. Thursday was another full day of activity, that ended with group presentations and a very special communion service. We had communion by the lake with our MIR Jacob and we were able to make a faith commitment by after if we wanted. We were able to make a first time commitment, a recommitment, or we were able to say that we already walked with God daily or we just weren't ready to yet. After our celebration, we had a snack of freezy pops before heading to bed. This morning we had french toast sticks for breakfast before heading to our last activity of the week. We all did some smaller group activities before we did one giant group activity together. Currently we are about to have a hot dog lunch before heading to pack up our stuff and then head to the chapel for the closing ceremony. While we are excited to see out families, we are also sad to leave Camp Lookout. Even through the sadness, we know this has been a special week and that more fun awaits us next year! Check back this afternoon as we are in the proc
