Celebrating a Great Week!

Last night was a very special night here at Camp Lookout. After our group presentations and Bible Study, we had a very special chapel time with Tina. We also got to hear from Don about taking the things we learned at camp back into the "real world", where its not always easy to be a Christian. We then walked to the lake with candles and had time to reflect on what we had heard God telling us throughout the week. After celebrating Communion, we had a chance to respond to our feelings form the week. Some of us made first time commitments to follow Christ, and some of us rededicated out loves to Christ. Some of us also were able to say that we already walked daily with Christ or that we weren't quite ready, and all of our choices were treated in a loving and safe environment.  After a group prayer, we had time to sit at the lake and pray with our counselors or just have some quiet time.

One of the most exciting parts about the Junior High Week is that we have a HUGE celebration after communion on Thursday. We got to dance and sing and even have a real soft drink and chips before heading to bed. It was indeed a great day.

Today was our last day at Camp Lookout. We had a breakfast of French Toast Sticks and Sausage Links, then we filled out our camper evaluations. We then got to pick our activity for the morning. We have all types of staff leading Yoga, Improv, Tumbling, and Basketball. We then ended the morning with a group session of dancing and games. For our last meal at Camp, we had Hot Dogs, French Fries, and Lemonade. Sadly after lunch we had to pack up to get ready to go home. We are leaving with so many great memories and friends from this week though. We can not wait to come back next year, and we are looking forward to having even more fun!
