​The purpose of the program is to develop equipped and impassioned leaders for camp, church, and life by helping participants grow in four core character strengths: ​Resilience, Integrity, Servant Leadership, and Empathy.

Kayak Camp

Experience the thrill of kayaking while discovering the beauty of God’s creation at Camp Lookout’s Kayak Camp! This adventure-packed program is perfect for campers eager to learn new skills and build confidence on the water.

What to Expect:
🚣 Skill Progression: Start in the pool to learn safety techniques and paddle skills, then advance to the lake and finally the Hiwassee River (lower section) for an unforgettable one-day outing.
🚣 Hands-On Training: Campers will use spray skirts and get an introduction to rolling a kayak.
🚣 No Experience Needed: Beginners welcome! Our certified and experienced instructors will guide campers every step of the way.
🚣 All Equipment Provided: Just bring your adventurous spirit!
