These sessions are some of our most exciting and action-packed days at Camp Lookout. Choose from almost all of our available activities to create your own camp experience. Take on adventures that build self-confidence, create community, and encourage creativity and the spirit of adventure.

JHC - Junior High Camp (Grades 7-9) - (6/16/2025 - 6/20/2025)

Kayak 2 Camp (Grades 7-9)
$625.00

Paddling on a river allows us to catch a special glimpse of God's creation. It's a fun and exciting sport that can be enjoyed for a lifetime. Campers will start in the pool to establish safety and paddle skills needed before progressing to the lake and then on to the river. Kayak Campers will enjoy a one-day outing at the beautiful Hiwassee River (lower section) to work on basic skills and to have tons of fun.

No previous experience is necessary to attend
All equipment provided
Certified and experienced Instructors
Campers will use spray skirts on their boats and will be introduced to rolling a kayak.

K2C - Kayak 2 Camp (Grades 7-9) - (6/16/2025 - 6/20/2025)

Horseback 2 Camp (Grades 7-9) $695.00

Horseback camps at Camp Lookout are a great way to experience horseback riding for the first time or to refine your current skills. All lessons take place on camp property with a certified instructor. Horseback camps include rider and horse safety; horse, tack, and barn care; riding skills; and the importance of building a relationship with these beautiful animals.

Bible study, worship, activities, and awesome nighttime events
Three 3-hours sessions at the barn
Campers spend time on the trail as well as the arena

HB2C3 - Horseback Camp (Grades 7-9) - (6/16/2025 - 6/20/2025)

Junior High Mini OHA (Grades 7-9) $320.00

This camp provides a unique opportunity to push the limits on adventure. In this camp we dive into higher outdoor exploration that challenges and encourages your camper to push past their initial fears. This camp is designed to give you a taste as a 7th-9th grade student what to expect during the High School Outdoor High Adventure Camp. We provide catered experiences that are unique to this camp only.

Fellowship and community with a small group of fellow campers
Full high ropes course, night zip-lining, wild cave explorations, mountain biking, day hike, whitewater paddling, climbing wall, rappelling, and outdoor camping are each a possibility during this adventure camp

Junior High Mini OHA Options for Summer 2025!!!

JHOHA5 - Junior High Mini OHA (Grades 7-9) - (6/29/2025 - 7/1/2025)

Junior High Service week Youth (grades 7-9) and adult advisors
Youth: $510.00
Adults: $370.00

This is a great opportunity for Junior High Youth groups looking for a rewarding week of mission work, bonding, and recreation. Registration is limited to groups and must be completed by youth leaders. Please contact the Camp Lookout office (706-820-1163) for more information and to register.

5 days and 4 nights of service work and camp fun
Bible study and worship every day
3 days of service projects (9 a.m. – 2 p.m.)
Group singing, guest speakers, and worship every evening
Groups must provide adult advisors at a 1 to 7 ratio per gender
All supplies, tools, and projects provided
Check-in is Monday 10:00 a.m. and Check-out is Friday 10:00 a.m.
