Tiered Pricing

In response to rising costs and reductions in conference support that has allowed Lookout to offer summer camp fees below our actual costs, we are introducing a new “Tiered Pricing” model for Summer 2026.

This new system will allow us to offer camp at the same base price as last year, and to continue offering camp at a reduced rate moving forward by allowing families to select the level of payment most appropriate for their financial situation. Every choice to pay Tiers 2 or 3 helps ensure that Camp Lookout remains accessible to all and sustainable for years to come. No matter which Tier your family chooses, the summer camp experience your camper will receive will always be the same. Camp scholarships are also still available so that cost never prevents a camper from attending.

Please pick the Tier that makes the most sense for your family (any additional charges based upon the tier you select will later be added to your account).

  • TIER 1: (default camp fee) At this level, camper fees are partially subsidized by generous donations. This is the default tier listed on the schedule and in our Camp Brain registration system. If families take no action, they’ll pay this rate.
  • TIER 2: (Tier 1 + 15%) This is the true cost of providing a week of camp, covering all associated costs.
  • TIER 3: (Tier 1+ 30%) This rate covers actual camp costs & annualized depreciation of camp property.

We realize families have differing abilities to pay for camp, and you know your family’s needs best. We are grateful to those who choose to pay the higher tiers, along with those who generously give to our scholarship fund, for helping to make camp both more accessible and sustainable. Those needing additional assistance are encouraged to apply for camp scholarships by contacting us for more information. It is our hope to be part of your camper's life throughout their camp years, regardless of whether and how your circumstances may change.
