Friday Lesson – Taking it Home

Scripture Story: John 20:30-31
Spiritual Focus: Through believing you may have life in his name.

Many of you will be coming to camp today to pick up your camper.  Fridays are abbreviated camp days with packing and preparing to return home.  We still want to spend a little bit of time in Bible study today to illustrate the importance of the scriptures in our faith formation.

Your Bible may still be marked at John 20 from yesterday’s lesson.  Turn back to John 20 and read verses 30 and 31.  The camper group will read these two verses for their final group gathering.  They will focus on God’s love for them, and that as they leave camp, God is always with them.

Our focus for the week has been “Come and See.”  Our hope is that faith has been sparked or deepened because of what campers have seen in their studies, worship, and most of all in the lives of the camp staff.

We hope that you have enjoyed these study outlines at home and that you will be able to have a connection with your camper through this Bible study experience.  May God richly bless your family through the Biblical word and the living word of faith in Christ.
