FINALLY! The week we have all been waiting for all year....the first week of camp!! This week we have a large group of Junior High students with us that are not only participating in our camp activities but are also working on various service projects around the area as well as on the camp grounds. All of our campers are getting the chance to help their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ as well as maintaining a beautiful environment on their different job sites. They have all been able to use their individual talents as well, to work as a team of support for one another to complete any given task! But what is hard work without a little fun?! Today at Camp Lookout we were also finally blessed with lots of sunshine for our various afternoon activities. Our campers were able to participate in activities they chose for themselves after they finished a morning of service. We are so excited for more fun to come this week as well as seeing all the campers handwork paying off as they complete their projects! Camp Lookout also has a wonderful group of Day Campers this week as well that include rising First and Second Graders. These little ones have also been having lots of fun today as well, they were even able to pet our friend Buddy, a horse that lives at camp as one of their activities today! They were even lucky enough to go for a treasure hunt all over the camp grounds as well as swim time! We are so excited to have them here, even if just for the day, and are excited for the rest of their week filled with fun!
