WOW! What an amazing week we have had with all of our 5th and 6th graders and Day Campers! Each of them has been such a blessing to all the staff this week and we are sad to see them go. We have been able to watch some amazing friendships begin and watch children decide to dedicate their lives to Christ. We could not have asked for a better week! We hope our campers have a great rest of the summer and we hope to see some familiar faces back with us in July or next year. We hope as the Summer goes on our campers will continue to use what they have learned about the love of Christ at camp for the rest of their time outside of camp!

Our campers had an excellent last full day of activities! Even though the week is coming to a close they still have many adventures ahead. Tonight they will be doing presentations with their Bible study to show everyone what they have learned over the course of the week. Following presentations we will all gather for Communion with our campers to end the night. It has been such a blessing to see them create friendships and grow in their relationship with Christ through singing and MIR time as well as in their Bible study groups. Currently they are about to participate in some service time around the camp grounds before wowing us with their presentations in the Chapel. We are looking forward to another great day tomorrow but will be sad to see our campers go! Our Day Campers had a fantastic day as well! They were able to have some pool time and play some fun parachute games together as well! They also were able to participate in their daily Bible study together too. Today they were also able to venture to the barn we have at camp to pet our horses! We are excited to see them tomorrow for their last full day with us!

Our Day Camp had another great day as well! They traveled to cloud land canyon to do a little hiking and exploring of God's creations on this beautiful day! They also were abler to cool off from the heat with some much needed pool time after all their adventures. Group games were also a big part of their day today and fun was had by all. We cannot wait for them to be back with us again tomorrow and the rest of the week!

As this week with our Junior High campers comes to a close, we are excited to see all the new friendships they have made and how they have grown as individuals. Tonight, they will be participating in a communion service together, as well as a celebration afterwards. The staff is looking forward to seeing how God works through them tonight as they worship together. Our campers also completed their last full day of activities today. Our kayak campers had an awesome river trip, and our horseback riders went on a trail ride! Tonight will also entail presentations from each Bible study group, which we are all excited to see; our various groups are preparing together right now. We are looking forward to everything that is planned tonight and are excited to see what the campers have learned! Our Day Campers did some fun activities of their own today. They explored the creek with our half-week campers and were able to splash around in the cool water on this hot day! They also participated in some Bible study today and some fun group dancing. We are looking forward to having them back with us in the morning for their last full day of adventures and time spend with friends.
Our campers had another action packed and fun filled day today! They participated in morning and afternoon activities and some were even able to go off site for a river trip all day. This evening our campers had the chance to participate in "Team Night" with their Bible study groups, followed by private Bible study time and worship in the chapel. Watching all the campers work together this evening in their activities and enjoy each others company was amazing to see. We can all see that some new friendships have already formed and we are looking forward to seeing each camper strengthen their relationship with Christ as well as the week comes to a close. Now it is time for our campers to get some rest for our last full day of activities tomorrow; we are so excited to see what they accomplish! Today our day camp adventure kids were able to explore Cloudland Canyon with their counselors and new friends. They also enjoyed a picnic lunch together. Tomorrow they will be exploring nature and God's creation even more with a creek walk here at camp. We are looking forward to seeing what other adventures they get into these last two days of camp!
Our first full day of activities with our campers was a great one! While some chose to try out the new zipline others took to the water for Kayaking and some lake paddling. We also had groups enjoy some caving as well as taking on the high ropes course and climbing wall. This evening our campers participated in some group dancing and are now settled into their Bible Study groups for some reflection and scripture before chapel time begins! Our campers will also be able to enjoy some coke floats tonight- perfect for the hot weather we had today. We can already see our campers starting to break out of their comfort zones and make new friends and we cannot wait to see how they all grow through out the rest of the week!
